However, there are three wish list items that we hope turn into (verified) rumors soon. 

Wish List 

Coco Roller Avatar.  We’ve all missed this avatar greatly ever since it was retired after the code redemption page was removed.  We’re hoping the Neopets team decides to bring it out of retirement for the new app. 

Lutari Island.  The beautiful, tropical floating island in Neopia has been missing from the Neopets universe ever since Neopets Mobile’s service was discontinued in 2010.  The community as a whole is lobbying for this special island to return in the new app. 

Treasure Keepers.  Treasure Keepers was the super fun and addictive Facebook application that was discontinued after only 3 months of operation.  The removal of the game was due in part to the financial troubles the game was having at the time.  Now that it’s all taken care of, I think it’s safe to say that the majority of the community is in agreement that Treasure Keepers should make a comeback on the new app.

The Neopets App is currently in beta.  Therefore, none of what you read below is concrete.  However, it was all pulled from an official Neopets video.  Here is what we “know” to be included in the upcoming app: 

The name of the app.  While we don’t know the exact name of the app, we do know that Neopets is currently deciding between three names:  Neopets Mobile, Neopets Go!, and Neopets On-the-go.  They asked Neopets fans to vote on their favorite name.  It looks like Neopets Mobile and Neopets Go! are the current frontrunners. 

Check in on your Neopets.  As far as we know, you’ll be able to do everything with your pet that you can do on the website.  Things like checking on your Neopets’ stats, searching your inventory for items, and feeding and entertaining your Neopet.  All of this can be done from an attractive user-interface (as seen in the Neopets video). 

Play games and earn NP.  You can play your favorite games directly through the app, and earn Neopoints (NP) to buy cool items and gear for your Neopets.  Games will most likely include puzzles, chance, and action games. 

Do dailies and earn prizes.  The app will have access to all of the dailies you can handle.  We’re not sure how dailies will be set up in the app, or how the points will be distributed, but we’re sure it will all be brought to light in the coming months. 

Neoboards.  Access to Neoboards will be available on the app, so you can join in on all of the Neopets discussions without having to open a browser or get on a computer. 

Neomail.  Neopets is including integration with Neomail as well.  Your contacts should be linked to your Neopets user account, so hopefully, they’ll automatically be transferred over into the app. 

**Special Note:  No word yet on guilds integration, so we’ll just have to wait and see. 

Neopets News.  Of course, Neopets will keep us updated, via the app, on all of the latest breaking news from the company and the community.

In February of this year, Neopets announced the upcoming release of a new Neopets app for mobile devices. A lot of speculation has surfaced about what this new app will contain. Neopets has already hinted at a few features. Recently, Neopets has unveiled the multiplatform app for Smartphone users. Unlike other apps, this app is expected for Iphone as well as android users. Avoiding android would be a big mistake as a large number of people belong to android family. The release of this app has been delayed a lot.  But, soon it will cater Smartphone users too. 

In February 2014, users were shown a trailer to pick a name for the app. The proposed names were Neopets on the Go, Neopets Mobile and Neopets Go. Voting process has been closed, but the final name hasn’t been revealed yet. The amazing trailer has played a big part in increasing expectations of the users. Users are expecting few effective features from the Neopets mobile app. 

The beta version trailer revealed some essential features of the app. It has been designed to achieve complete user satisfaction. Through this neopets app, players would be able to use many features and play efficient games. Major features revealed from the trailer are- 

1. Check on the Neopets- This feature is the first thing which you will get from the app. Just like the Quick Ref page, this feature will also allow you to check, feed and revive HP of your pet. It is one of the most essential features of the game.
